You are not Sophos Staff.
It is taking quite a lot of disk space. Can I delete it?
It is only enabled for troubleshoting. So you can delete it, but it will be growing again.
Maybe one has forgotten to turn this off.
You should have a look at and disable debug mode.
or ask sophos support if they are the cause .

Like Alex said, someone must have been trying to help with an SMTP problem and forgot to remove the --debug parameter.

Or then maybe not? I haven't had SMTP server on at all. I haven't used it at all. Not to mention that I would have had the knowledge to put that parameter on?
It's a mystery then!
