set up interface not working / no internet

Trying to set up an interface to connect to the internet, but

Cable Modem (DHCP)
or
Ethernet DHCP

are not available as choices from the drop down box. What do I do?

Hi,

I am not sure with the explanation. If you are trying to configure an internet line, try doing that with WAN zone.

What do you mean WAN zone?

According to the instructions here: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/118998.aspx

I should be able to chose Ethernet DHCP

But, I don't have that choice:

And I can't connect to the internet. It is driving me crazy!! Sophos version is 9.355.1.1

That KB article refers to an older version of the software. Today, just choose "Ethernet" and select 'Dynamic IP'.
