Hi all, I'm new to UTM. After updating the firmware to the latest, my home license file does not work anymore so am unable to do anything. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
"Does not work anymore" doesn't really tell us anything about what you're experiencing. In WebAdmin, look at Management > Licensing > Overview. What are you seeing on this page? Is the license ID correct? Are the expiration dates something that has already past? Make certain that the time/date are correct on your UTM at Management > System Settings > Time and Date.

When I login, it takes me to the upload license screen. There are no other options or pages. I upload my license. Then I log back in again and it takes me to the same screen. the expiry is 2018. And the system time in the VM is correct.
www.sophos.com/.../119814.aspx Check for config-backups from the shell. There should be one from before this up2date was installed. Restore it and we'll see how that goes.

9.353-4 is the latest version. Config-backups can't/don't rollback versions, only the configuration settings (including license). Glad you're better now. :)
