Unable to launch webadmin after restore to new UTM

I got an GS310 from our vendor to replace an Asg220 cluster, backed up the configuration on the old UTM, updated the new all the way to version 9.350-12 ( same as the old models were runing.. otherwise the 310 would not accept the backup)

then uploaded the backup, got the message that I would be logged out. Tried to log back in, realized the temporary IP ( 192.168.0.1) would have been replaced because of the restore operation with the one from our old UTMs.

changed Ips to my laptop, pinged that Ip, it replied. tried to login..to no avail!
I can ping all the IPs from all 6 interfaces, but I cannot login into the webadmin interface via any IP.

I also connected a vga-cable to the UTM, and the IP displayed there is the correct one for eth0

plus the same IP is displayed on the LCD screen as etho address.

any ideas anyone?

You get the login page, but it will not accept the credentials? Can you log into the shell with loginuser and su? If so, give it another reboot and check the results of ifconfig.

No, the login page doenst appear at all.
In fact I run an nmap scan, and I can see some ports ( 53-dns, 123-ntp, 1723-vpn), but 443,22,4444 (portal / ssh / weadmin) dont work.

I thought about connecting via console, but after 12 hours overtime on a sunday for th elif eof me couldnt remember the loginuser password, the one i changed 3 weeks ago, so the hour being 2am ( monday morning) , I decided to call it quits, try that today after I get back to work...
