We have an active/passive UTM setup. Master UTM #1 is set to preferred, but it failed, so now #2 is Master. In the status screen it shows #1 "Dead" and then it has option to "Remove Node".
We have the replacement UTM with newest firmware and set to factory default and will upgrade existing master to match firmware before we plug things in.
Does anyone know the best way to go about replacing the failed unit? Support said we had to IP it and upload a license key file, but we don't think that's correct.
We have to travel a distance to do this, so time's limited. Should "remove node" be instigated before we plug in replacement unit? What else should we do?
Thanks,
ENS
