USB Nics - the discussion continues

Due to a full melt down of my SW UTM the other day, I am trying to build a new one on a spare Zotac box.  Sadly, this one only comes with 1 NIC card.

I have a couple of different USB - NIC adapter (both Gigabit) and the bandwidth on them should be fine for my untrusted side.

On the new build, the installer only shows 1 NIC card (the internal one).  However if you plug in either of the other 2 USB devices, you can see in the messages log they are recognized, but the kernel doesn't seem them (ifconfig).

Am I missing something, or am I SOL to get V9 functional.

    Mike, there's no Plug-n-Play here.  The USB device you use must be inserted at the time you install from ISO as the installer only loads drivers for the devices it finds.  If the Zotac has two USB ports and your USB NICs are not identical, you could insert both of them for the installation.
