Internal interface with dual IP addresses

I want to retire old Cisco router; however, a lot of devices with static IP address are using that router as default gateway. Can I add that IP address from Cisco router to Sophos UTM internal interface and keep current IP address on the Sophos box as well? Is it possible to have dual IP addresses on the same interface? If yes, please help me with the configuration.

Thanks,
m@rek

  • Have a look at "additional addresses" tab in the interfaces section...

    Private Setup:

    • XG: HPE DL20 Gen9 (Core i3-7300, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD) | XG 18.0 (Home License) with: Web Protection, Site-to-Site-VPN (IPSec, RED-Tunnel), Remote Access (SSL, HTML5)
    • UTM: 2 vCPUs, 2GB RAM, 50GB vHDD, 2 vNICs on vServer (KVM) | UTM 9.7 (Home License) with: Email Protection, Webserver Protection, RED-Tunnel (server)
  • Awesome, I have changed IP address on Cisco router, added additional IP address and assigned it to internal interface. It works with no issues. Thanks to scorpionking.
