Hello,
I have a client that wants to do a dual-wan setup. I've never done this before so I want to make sure what they want to do is possible.
There are 3 locations. The 2 remote locations connect to the main location via MPLS. All internet access goes through the main location. This works fine, but internet is slow at the remote locations (1 T1)
The two remote locations now have DSL connections. At the remote locations we would like any internet access to go out through the local ISP. Anything destined for the main location subnet would have to go out via the MPLS connection. I assume this is what a static route is for? Set anything going to the main location subnet (192.168.0.x) to the MPLS interface?
Now, when\if the DSL connection goes down all internet access should go through the MPLS connection like it does now. When the DSL is backup it switches back to the original configuration. Ideally this all happens automatically without intervention.
Is this possible? Is it possible with a SG 105? The remote offices are small. Maybe 10 users at a time.
Thanks for the help!
