NIC recommendation for TS140

Hi, my homebuilt Atom based system has died after a few years service and I thought i would bump up my next build. I have a TS140 Xeon that I am thinking of repurposing to use. What would people recommend for additional nics? There is one intel nic on the motherboard and I am thinking of adding a 1, 2 or 4 port card depending on price and availability. 

What are your recommendations? Please provide newegg or amazon links if possible so I can be sure I am getting the correct card.

Also I have a Sumsung EVO SSD in the TS as well as the original 7200 rpm drive. Do you think that a SSD the SSD is worth keeping in the system (for performance reasons) or should I repurpose it elsewhere and use the original HD?
