license expires

Hello experts,

I am new to this Forum and have a question. I am using Sophos UTM9 (free, Home use). Approx. two years ago, I bought 2 Sophos Accesspoints. I am very satisfied with the System and it works perfekt for me. 
A view days ago, I got the message "Wireless protection will expire in 5  days". 
Does this have any effect to my wireless Network, when wireless protection expires? Do I need to buy a seperate license to operate the Access Points with my home use license?

    Yes, you won't be able to use your APs anymore with an expired license.  The individual sections in a Home Use License do have an expiration time (3 years I believe).  Chances are that all of the features in the home license are about to expire.  Go to Management > Licensing > Overview, scroll down and look at the expiration dates for all of the individual features.  If they are expiring, then you'll need a new license.  Go to https://myutm.sophos.com/ and login.  Scroll down, choose View Licenses.  Scroll down to the Home Use License section and click on your license.  Here on the license details page (where you can also see all of the expiration dates), Scroll down and delete the license.  Now back on the View Licenses page, there will be a button under Home Use License to create a new license.

    thank you for the quick reply. I tried this but it does not recognize my emailadress for some reason. It seems, that the address I used for registering in 2012 is not in the System. I was able to create a new account with this emailadress.
    As there is no old license, I created a new one but this license does not include wireless protection.
    does the License-ID from my old license help?

    I was able to logon to my account (used wrong emailadress).

    When I delete the license as you described, and create a new one, is there wireless protection included also?

    I just did the process myself and it worked fine.  Make certain you are creating the new license under Home Use License and NOT the create new license under shortcut.  Open up the new license to see the details.  Should look like the following:

    Name:  UTM Home Use License
    License Type:  50
    License Model:  New
    Registration Date:  2015-06-29
    End Date:  Never
    License Mode:  OnDemand
    Protected IPs:  50
    Concurrent Connections:  32000
    Special:  Home use only
    SiteLicense:  OFF
    Cluster Nodes:  0
    OEM:  off

    Subscription  Status  Start Date  End Date
    Network Protection:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30
    Web Protection:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30
    Email Protection:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30
    Webserver Protection:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30
    Wireless Protection:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30
    Premium Support:  inactive 
    Standard Support:  enabled  2015-06-29  2018-06-30

    does the License-ID from my old license help?
    Not in the least bit.  This is a user-to-user forum, no Sophos employees here.


    Edit:  I was putting together this reply, while you were posting yours.  Yes, wireless is included in the Home License, as you can see in the above paste.

    Really appreciate this guidance Scott - I use the UTM 9 for home purposes as well as it being deployed in our corporate environment. Whilst I appreciate expectations on "home use" support should be realistic, I have been struggling to work out the "home use" renewal process for some time. I contacted the NSG licensing team...and got the following limited and ambiguous response:

    "Hello,

    The Home license is valid for 3 years and cannot be renewed.

    Please download a home use license again and kindly reinstall.

    secure2.sophos.com/.../download.aspx

    Thanks!
    NSG Licensing"
