What exactly does "Security Update" mean

It means just that; a security update.

Not every new up2date version gets an ISO, usually every second or third. The most recent one is 9.312-8

so anyone doing update testing using the 'offline method' or who want to switch hardware and thus need an iso for the exact version their current backup file is based on have to wait for so many updates....[:S]

That is Correct. In this specific case, they would have to wait to apply a single massive 12.4MB up2date to go from 9.312-->9.313

Just updated my system as I had been on 9.2 for a while as I was waiting any bugs to be ironed out on 9.3.

So far, everything looks like, S2S tunnel is up, antivirus clients checking in, even IPv6 appears to be working.
