Upgrade RAM on UTM (ASG) 110/120 Rev.4

Hi, 
I notice that out UTM 120 is often running high usage on RAM and occasionally maxes out which drops the connection to our remote site (connected through a RED 10) 

looking at the hardware it looks like it is possible to upgrade the memory from a 1 to a 2GB DDR2-667 SO-DIMM (which is only about £20)

However I wanted to check if anyone has successfully done this before and how it affects the warranty (or our future option to upgrade the hardware with a trade in)?

I have tried contacting our hardware supplier but they didn't want to talk about it.

    I recently tried to upgrade the RAM in a UTM 120 from 2G to 4G - to re-purpose the device for either a SUM or iView. The device would not POST after the upgrade, but would after swapping back in the orig. ram.  The UTM120 was REV 5.
