My first experience with this product. Set up the Home edition at home on my little server running VMware ESXi. I bought a 4 port NIC and finally figured out how to get the correct ports assigned.
Everything seems to be in working order. I'm getting the correct IP on my WAN interface. The LAN side of things seems to be working. I can send traffic to my WAN interface from the Internet (using my iPhone personal hotspot and / or trying to initiate a VPN connection, I see it denied in the firewall logs).
I can ping the public IP address assigned to the WAN. Can't ping anything beyond that. No DNS lookups work.
I tried making an "any any any" rule in the firewall to effectively turn it off, as was described in a post here some time back (found through a Google search).
Seems like there is no connection or route between the internal and external networks.
I'm stuck.
