NIC assignment problems

Hi

I have UTM 9 running on an ESXI 6 server. I have assigned 3 of 4 NIC ports from af QUAD NIC Card to the UTM 9 appliance software. But after install and running the wizard which by the way doesn't save the settings made, there is only one NIC present (internal - management interface) And when i add the 2 other NICs manually they both get an internal ip address from the DHCP server i have on the internal Network. Only 2 of 3 NIC are connected, but all 3 NIC are marked as UP/UP. How can that be? I have configured the VM with VMX3NET drivers. (IT's an Intel QUAD Server NIC)

    Hi & Welcome...

    It doesn't sound like you have things set up correctly...

    (other than an external NIC) The NICs should be Standard Ethernet or VLANs, and would not get addresses automatically.

    Make sure you don't have your VSwitches mis-wired; only one UTM NIC should be on each VSwitch
