I have seen this in multiple testing environment and I though I better post to the forum. The problem normally starts when I try to make any changes to an existing HA setup or possibly when one node tries to update. What happens is the 2nd node at the start up would produce an error that all the existing node ID(s) are taken and shuts down. I am seeing this in /var/log/high-availability.log. I suspect that for whatever reason it is the HA system does not do a clean up when it is reconfigured and the problem could be the existing set ups. I did search Sophos's KB but most of them are based on setting up the first time and everything should work! Question I have is where would I look inside to erase the existing set up and start all over. Or is my thinking right?
