I have had IPv6 enabled in my home UTM for a few months. I was initially concerned that enabling IPv6 would bump my UTM over the 50 address license limit, but many appliances in my home are not using IPv6, so it was not an issue.
I do not check the license count often (who does?) in Management->Licensing->Active IP Addresses, but when I did, I saw IPv4 and IPv6 addresses listed there. For dual-stack devices, such as my desktop computer, I saw both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. No surprise there.
This morning I checked again, and no IPv6 addresses are showing up in "Active IP Addresses" list in the WebAdmin interface, only IPv4 addresses. I am running UTM version 9.309-3. I know that some of my computers are using IPv6 on the LAN and to the public Internet.
Is anyone else seeing the same thing? (No IPv6 addresses in Active Licenses)?
If so, then cudos to Sophos for fixing an issue where a small number of dual-stack devices (far less than 50) could push a home user over the license limit.
