Installing on an ASUS router

Hi,

Is it possible to install Sophos UTM on a home router. I have an ASUS AC-66U running Merlin. I have swap memory size of 4GB and a 2TB HDD attached.

Does anyone know if this is even possible?

I don't suppose it will work; as far as I know you need an intel compatible machine to be able to install it.
Also if it would be possible, your device will no longer be a wireless access point.

Not possible.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

    1.5+ GHz processor (Dual/Quad-Core recommended)
    2 GB RAM (4-8 recommended)
    40 GB hard disk
    Bootable CD-ROM
    2 or more network cards (ideally Intel or Broadcom)
