UTM 9.309 GA released

the GA-Release of UTM 9.309 is available via up2date now...
No changes since SR

Bugfixes:

    31646 Hotspot drops Radius authentication requests
    33320 Wireless Protection 'Password of the Day' feature is generating passwords that are offensive
    33803 Webadmin stopped working from time to time
    34258 (VxLAN) Wifi performance issue after update with separate zone cause a wrong MTU used
    34296 Postgres connections running out due hotspotd DB connects
    34302 SG W-Appliances: Not possible to assign a Bridge to AP LAN SSID to internal WIFI
    34382 Client is unable to get an IP address from UTM DHCP server in seperate zone network
    34383 Wireless clients connecting to a separate zone network are unable to receive DHCP replies from the UTM
    34415 mdw crash when configuring radius for local wifi
    34548 raid_monitor.plx fills up / partition (&STDOUT)
    34558 RED frequently reconnecting because configuring an Additional Address as UTM-Hostname

    I agree that Support has been overwhelmed since Sophos' inadequate response to Shellshock last year (and then it doubled-down for Poodle).  Sophos upper management made, in my opinion, some bad decisions last year.  I'm hopeful that the new CTO will have been given the freedom to make changes that get Support, Development and QA back on the right tracks.  I was glad to learn that more resources have been redeployed from future versions to improving the current ones (8.3, 9.2 and 9.3).

    Hi guys,

    After listening a long time on the forum about the 9.3x bugs, we decided to wait...
    till this week and the Sophos recommandation to upgrade due to the FREAK bug.

    For backup reasons, i left the second SG in my HA config on the 9.211 version. And that was pretty good.

    Cause after automatic applying the 6 (!) Version 9.30x-9.309 this night, the http proxy service dies every hour!
    Several services like named and authd throwed tons of error logs and so on.
    Brrr....
    Case opened at Sophos dealer

    Just shutted down the 9.3 versioned SG, bringing back the 9.2 and i´m happy. Better having a possible unsave, but stable version than a unstable...

    Hello 9.211ers

    We updated a active/passive SG 330 cluster from 9.211 to 9.309. After failing with another cluster the following worked for us:
    - Update patch 9.211 - 9.304 first and wait until the nodes are syncronized again.
    - Then apply the other 9.3xx updates 

    Until now there are no bad news to tell ;-)
