Hi,

the SoftRelease of UTM 9.309 can be found on the FTP server...

Bugfixes:

    31646 Hotspot drops Radius authentication requests
    33320 Wireless Protection 'Password of the Day' feature is generating passwords that are offensive
    33803 Webadmin stopped working from time to time
    34258 (VxLAN) Wifi performance issue after update with separate zone cause a wrong MTU used
    34296 Postgres connections running out due hotspotd DB connects
    34302 SG W-Appliances: Not possible to assign a Bridge to AP LAN SSID to internal WIFI
    34382 Client is unable to get an IP address from UTM DHCP server in seperate zone network
    34383 Wireless clients connecting to a separate zone network are unable to receive DHCP replies from the UTM
    34415 mdw crash when configuring radius for local wifi
    34548 raid_monitor.plx fills up / partition (&STDOUT)
    34558 RED frequently reconnecting because configuring an Additional Address as UTM-Hostname

    Crisman - Only software...but the problem is solved, I was running a test kernel in the UTM, i installed the original kernel from 9.308 now and upgraded to 9.309 with success :-)

    Did you have any issues with the wlan bridges and could you test them to see if problem solved?
    I currently stopped at 9.305-4 since others started complain about wireless issues so I was waiting until this problem was fixed.

    Well, I don't have time since I'm at work too and maybe only this weekend have the chance to update my UTM, so will have to wait until there and keep my eyes on this post to see others reports.

    Okay here is my results:

    Scenario:
    Version 9.309-3

    SW UTM in VMWARE ESXi 5.5

    1 x AP50

    1 x iPhone6

    1 x speedtest.net

    Seperate zone MTU 1500:

    DL: 3,35Mbps
    UL: 23,6Mbps (My ISP is only 20 up)

    Bridge to lan:

    DL: 37,95Mbps
    UL: 21,28Mbps

    Have others tested yet?

    RDP protocol now runs better on seperate zone wifi (stable).

    Well, the WiFi fix I was hoping for is not in that list - it only fixes separate zone connection issues.  

    I don't know what it exactly was that was changed in the previous update that totally screwed up my AP, but that is something that needs to get changed back to what it was before.

    XG 19.5 GA 64-bit | Intel Xeon 4-core v3 1225 3.20Ghz
    16GB Memory | 500GB SSD HDD | GB Ethernet x5

    What exactly is your WIFI issue ? For me 9.309 finally fixed the separate zone issue...it now runs fine even with a MTU of 1500.

    What hw are you using? I tested with UTM120 and SW, no luck other than the results above. What throughput do you get?
