Simple question. I think I know the answer but want to be sure.
We are currently using an ASG320 and will soon be upgrading to an SG330 in HA config.
Current config:
ASG320 WAN link uses Eth1 to a fiber optic transceiver to go across campus to the router via another fiber optic transceiver (Data center and D-Marks in different buildings)
Proposed config:
SG330 WAN link will use a GBIC port to go across campus to a fiber optic transceiver thus eliminating 1 (actually 2 in HA) piece(s) of equipment.
Now the question:
Once I have ported my config to the SG330, is it really just a matter of changing my WAN interface to the GBIC port?
I realize at some point I will need to rejoin the FO links to get to the router. Fiber is not an issue as I have several spares.
