ISO removed from FTP

I was surprised to see they removed the ISO's from the site. I understand they want people to register (which you have to anyway) but now you can't get older ISO to install test etc.

Can you bring this back?
Your loyal users would appreciate it.

Edit: I see they allow downloads without registering for latest releases but no older versions.
You need to logon to the portal for older versions. FTP option was better. [:(]

Just open the readme in this FTP folder.

Don't blame Sophos for that little annoyance of removing those simple, direct download locations, thank the american export restrictions for security and cryptography products (and the according damocles sword of penalties for non compliant companies), which are the reason for that change...

Hmm...so what is the official Sophos HQ location? I remember from partner sales training certification Oxford and Boston, and on Wikipedia it is still listed as a British company.

HQ is in Britain, but they need to comply with US law to sell and market in the US. The US office is in Burlington, Mass....the home of location filing for Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

Well, yes and no, Sascha. If the issue were the mandated rules, there wouldn't be a way to get to the latest versions. I believe that, since V9.3 isn't yet completely released, it's an oversight that 9.210 (and earlier) ISOs are not available. It's sloppy work, and I always blame that on management at least two levels up.

Perfect! When I will decide to update to 9.3x, I will not be able to do that since I cannot manually download 9.210-to-9.304 package. Thanks sophos... [:@] [:@]

Try www.sophos.com/.../utm-legacy-downloads.aspx for legacy (8.314, 9.113, 9.209) software.
