UTM 9.306 is SLOW!

After upgrading to 9.306, all users of all interfaces (VLANs) are experiencing very slow response.

We are using Hot-Standby mode

Hi,

1. what version were you running before?

2. wireless or wired?

3. have you looked at the logs? (rule #1)

1. Previous version was 9.305
2. Wired.
3. Logs are useless.

We are using Transparent mode with None and AD SSO.

HA and SSO were working flawlessly before the upgrade.

I have open case with Sophos, but they are slow...unlike Cisco.

-- several Web Filter Profiles
-- several Parent Proxies
-- IPS enabled
-- Threat Detection enabled
-- Antivirus and Anti-Spyware disabled

more setup info:
-- Several Web Filter Profiles. Each profile block outside web emails (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc.)

-- Several. Remote Proxies via IPSec tunnels.

I don't have an HA setup, but I have not seen any issues running it on a single system setup. There may be an issue with the HA setup?

update: After I disabled the TCP/UDP/ICMP DoS under IPS, the download went up from normal (1 to 50-mbps), while upload is still 7-mbps.

HA and everything else were running flawlessly!...still no hint from Sophos. Sorry I'm spoiled with Cisco TAC

If DoS is enabled what does the Live Log of the IPS say?

do not use the live log for serious troubleshooting..read the actual log archives.

after reboot, upload speed is about 25-mbps (half of normal 50-mbps)

IPS log is empty after reboot....thanks for all inputs....no input from Sophos yet
