I bought a used Astaro Securtiy Gateway 525. And I seem that CPU0 is getting very hot:
80 (°C) / 176 (°F)
CPU1 is at 35 (°C) / 95 (°F)
The Mainboard seems to be a Nexcom G107-009 NSB-2107 iE7710 Lindenhurst - BIOS: 6A79CN0AC-00.
After I restart the appliance there will the usual BIOS POST and a very loud and steady peep sound. But after GRUB wants to start the OS it turns off the power.
Because both CPUs are quiet cold, I would suspect a heat sensor error.
So I took CPU 0 of the mainboard. And now it does not start at all. No BIOS POST, just the annoying peep sound. After cleaning the cooler and CPU I’m now again at the point, that after GRUB starts the power goes off.
Is there a jumper or does somebody have a mainboard manual for the Nexcom mainboard?
I would like to run the Astrao even with one XEON CPU.
