9.3 gave me an idea for a Feature Request!

Hi All,

What do you think of this as a feature request:

No new features: Work on Stability, Reliability and Security (now closed by an annoying admin [:)])

I think its great, coming from Juniper I love Sophos extra features, admin, SUM.... Brilliant, excellent.

The only gripe is, just as Sophos is ahead in features, it is by equal measure behind in reliability & stability (I went for about 2 years before I restarted one of my Juniper devices, and due to my having to restart it, Juniper even requested to look into the issue!) It would be great, if (ok not forever), but just a period of updates, it was all about reliability & stability rather than a new feature.

    I don't fault the aggressive pace of adding features, but several people in upper-management may need to read The Black Swan. The disruptions caused by responses to Shellshock and Poodle have affected every release since 9.208.

    not to mention the near constant acquisitions.
