I have 2 NICs on my ESXi host, both attached to a vswitch, but attached to my Sophos UTM VM. Only one NIC is detected which works just fine, but the other NIC, while detected in ESXi is not showing up in WebAdmin or the console.
Attached is a screenshot of the lscpi -tv output.
Of note, I had to use ESXi customizer to add the intel i218-v driver into the ESXi ISO. Immediately was discovered and works just fine. I've read a lot of users are having issues with this NIC but never any solutions. The issues were also that the install froze or the NIC kept bouncing, but my ISO was loaded perfectly and as far as I know, the NIC was just never recognized.
How do I get this NIC to show up? Thanks for the help.
