The answer is yes and no. Yes, technically you can swap out the ram in a 320 to bring it up to 4GB. I've done it with 220's (not production ones). No you can't legally if the appliance is under a subscription because any hardware changes you make will void your warranty & support agreement with Sophos.
Awesome! I'm not to concerned with warranty as this will be used with a home license and I just picked it up from ebay lol. Thank you so much for replying! I was also interested to know I think I read somewhere I would need to use the software version since the home license isn't supported on the hardware appliances is that correct? Will the hardware appliance rev 4 auto up2date to 9.3 should I decide to pickup a license?
