updates to 9.3 available ???

But don't understand how I've received today those notifications if in theory that's not possible to do it with those files...

Crisman, if the 9.30x Up2Dates are available on your UTM, use my version change trick to Up2Date to 9.3 now.

Explanation is easy: Sophos screwed it up yet another time.

There presently is a 9.210-to-9.304 Up2Date in place, and that should solve the problem for anyone at 9.210 that doesn't have the 9.209-to-9.30x Up2Dates on their UTM.

To answer Crisman's question, the version-change trick is exactly for a situation like there was on Monday.  However, N E V E R, E V E R, change a version number to a later version number.  You will guarantee yourself an opportunity to reload from ISO, and possibly to start over from scratch.

Note: The URL of the file wget should download is http://download.astaro.com/UTM/v9/up2date/u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg - in the article they have missed the final "g"...

On link mentioned by alexander@impuls we can see this text:
"When remotely accessing an HA cluster you can move to the slave node through the command # ha_utils ssh and when prompted enter the passwords.  The same procedure as above can then be used to resolve the updating issues."

In my case I couldn't update the Slave node. wget couldn't download an update:
Resolving download.astaro.com... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address `download.astaro.com'

Instead FQDN I've tried to use IP for download.astaro.com = 79.125.108.166. But no success:
Connecting to 79.125.108.166:80... ^C

I've tried to ping:
 utm:/var/up2date/sys # ping 79.125.108.166
PING 79.125.108.166 (79.125.108.166) 56(84) bytes of data.
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted


Ok, just tried to copy update from 1st node to the 2nd.
I'm not very experienced with Linux, so please be patient [:)]

On the master node copy update to tmp directory: 
scp /var/up2date/sys/u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg /tmp

Connect to the slave node:
ha_utils ssh
Type password only for "loginuser"

On the slave node update from the 1st to the 2nd node: 
scp loginuser@198.19.250.1:/tmp/u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg /tmp
* check IP for H/A interface before

Continues on the second node:
su -
scp /tmp/u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg /var/up2date/sys
cd /var/up2date/sys
auisys.plx

After that the 2nd node has been updated successfully and cluster has been fully synchronized.


p.s. f..ng updates from sophos. I have wasted 2 days for this shit.. smtp tls, broken cluster...
