Restoring v8 backup into v9 blows up system.

I am updating from 8 to 9 and every time I restore v8's backup into v9, the UTM changes the NIC that is for my web interface, and it changes its IP to a different subnet. Not only that, but when I plug that NIC into my switch (Internal network), and change my IP to the correct subnet, it does not respond at all. Its as if it was not even on that IP. 

This is my third reinstall trying to get this to work. I need to get this running ASAP. 

Anyone have any thoughts?

    Check the CPU load on the console with 'top' while you're running your VOD and surfing...

    hit '1' in top to view all CPUs... if any are close to 100%, it could be the CPU, otherwise it's bandwidth contention in which case QoS might help.
