CPU Usage

What affects cpu usage other that high volume of traffic? I noticed something unusual, not really serious, but I would like to track it down. There was higher than usual activity between noon and midnight. Normal activity for my network is to the right of midnight.

Hi,

1. If you have the clock & timezone set right in the UTM, it will do its reporting and log archival after midnight, local time.

2. Did you look at the traffic graphs to see if anything corresponds with the CPU usage?

Timezone and clock are right. Traffic from all interfaces do not appear to have any impact. Today was the first day in the last several days with normal activity.

The small peaks every 15 minutes likely are PostgreSQL and Pattern updates.
