Wan Uplink interface link error state

Hi,

I have my newly Sophos Utm SG series 230 installed with two UPlinks,
Uplink A is working well while Uplink B is not.

it keeps on having an "error" state.
I have tried updating the UTM and then restart but it didnt fix the issue.

I have tried several reboots but not working also.

Uplink B is directly connected to the ISP's modem


How can I fix this issue?

    Is the modem set to autonegotiate or for a specific speed?  Check the setting for that interface at Interfaces & Routing > Interfaces > Hardware.

    Do you know that the modem is good?  How about the ethernet cable?  Can you try a different interface on the 230?

    thanks for the reply,

    I have already tried the other interfaces, infact I did switched place the two uplinks and still uplink B is having error.

    Eth1 - uplink A -> working
    eth2 - uplink B -> error

    eth1 - uplink B -> error
    eth2 - uplink A ->working


    I tried to direct the modem to my pc and it has internet but once being used by the utm it keeps having thesame issue.
