Node 2 died during up2date process!

Hello,

we have (had) two UTM 200 as Active-Passive HA-Cluster. I started via the Webinterface the Up2Date Process from Version 9.201 to 9.202. After 15 minutes i got an email that the Slave Node is dead. In the HA Log was the entry "Node 2 died during up2date process!". The Display on the Appliances shows just a row of quad´s. I wait some time, than i made a hard reset of the box, but without any success.  I think no problem, we have just to recover the box. Now I remove the box from the HA-Cluster and tried to recover the Appliance with the Sophos USB Stick. But i got no Signal on the VGA Connector or on the Serial Console. The HD LED on the front ist always off, too. It seem´s that the box is defective. But why? Bad Karma or something wrong with the Up2date Process? Have anybody a similar experience?

    If it has electricity, I think you killed it. [;)]

    It does sound dead, but I recommend disabling the 'Preferred master' setting before applying Up2Dates.  That may just be old paranoia from an old problem, but it's my habit.

    PS My recommendation today is to Up2Date to 9.207

    Silly question but have you physically removed the power cable from the back of the node?  If not do that and plug it back in and switch on.

    @Ross86: Thanks for your response. Yes, i removed the Powercord. 

    @BAlfson: The "Preferred Master" Setting was disabled, liked mentioned in many Forum Post´s.
