Unable to update to Version 9.207-18

Hi,

I'm having some problems updating my UTM. Could someone perhaps help?

I have an available update - 9.207-18 which fails. Errors below:

    my reading of that is the up2date package is corrupt. Ple3ase try and download it again.

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I originally had it set to automatic download and on the error above, I manually downloaded the update from FTP. I then uploaded it to the UTM. The error you see above is after the manual upload. Is there a manual set of steps to install?

    Hi,
    I wasn't aware that it had been pushed, as far as I know it is soft release only where you download it from the ftp site and then upload to the utm, apply then click install.

    I have one UTM which is still running on the previous version, so I would have expected an up2date email notification if the update had been pushed.

    You have to remove the bad file(s) first.

    It seems to have auto updated today and fixed itself. Or at least I think that. It's showing the latest firmware installed. However the Up2Date log is showing the following error now:

    Bob: How do I remove the bad files?

    Are there files to remove?

    cd /var/up2date/sys
    ls-l *


    I expect all of the files you will see will have incorrect names and/or sizes.  Delete them with

    rm *

    Thanks for the help Bob. 

    I did have a look and there were not any files in var/up2date/sys. 

    Oddly enough the updates have all automatically applied themselves and it seems to be working now. Does the system only update its version numbers once its successfully applied all the updates?
