Question regarding UTM Firewall

HI there,

We are a not for profit organisation and we are currently evaluating different solutions to keep an eye on what happening with our internet connection and to protect our network.

We happen to come across several products of yours: Sophos UTM Home Edition and Sophos UTM Essential Firewall.

Our understanding is that Sophos UTM Essential Firewall can be used in a business environment while the UTM Home Edition is for home users only.
We have found that the UTM Home Edition has more features than the Sophos UTM Essential Firewall wile it has a restriction of 50 computers.
Now we have a fairly small network with 25 devices that we would like to protect. Is it possible for a not for profit organisation to use the UTM Home Edition?

Not legally by the stipulations of the license, no.  The Home license is for home personal use only.

Looks like you're in AU.  Contact Sophos sales, which can put you in touch with a distributor for pricing.  Contact Sophos in the APAC Region | Sophos Security in APAC.  If a true Not For Profit and proof can be provided, there are discounts available.

BTW, the report post button is more to report posts that violate forum rules.  Not so much a help button.  [:)]
