Up2date

Hallo

We want to update my ASG110 to V9. 

The update file is in /var/up2date/sys-install
-rw-------  1 root root 383M 2014-08-12 11:47 u2d-sys-9.007.tgz

When we start the update prozess with 

auisys.plx -rpmargs -force

i get an error message:

Starting Up2Date Package Installer
MASCHINE:/var/up2date/sys-install # Searching for available up2date packages for type 'mpfc'
There are no 'mpfc' packages available for installation
Searching for available up2date packages for type 'sys'

Installing up2date package version 9.007
  Verifying up2date package signature
  Unpacking installation instructions
  You are currently running Version 8.312, but Version 8.311 is required for this up2date package.

Must i remove the update 8.312?
Can i remove the update?

    Hi, Karl, and welcome to the User BB!

    No, it's not practical to downgrade from 8.312 to 8.311, but you can simply change the version:

    edit /etc/version


    Then save the file and restart the ASG so the new version is displayed in the WebAdmin Dashboard.  The Upgrade should then run correctly.
