I picked up an old ASG320 on eBay - It's running 8.311 right now. I'm running my UTM9 instance in VMware Fusion on my Mac, and want to get it moved off onto 'real' hardware.
The ASG320 says I can't upgrade to UTM9 via the webadmin due to hardware compatibility issues, so I burned the hardware appliance installer to an ISO and kicked off an install - It gets stuck with 'Installation' with one black box on the LCD panel. I tried a few different versions of 9.1 and 9.2, but all broke the same way.
The box doesn't have a VGA port, but it does have the header - Where can I find the VGA/IDC adapter? I figure worst case I can install the software appliance onto the box, since I don't care so much about the LCD panel. Is there a way to install the software appliance iso without having a display?
Neither the hardware appliance ISO or the software one seem to work over the serial port - I was able to get into the 8.311 install via serial, so I know it works.
Any ideas where to go from here?
