PureMessage Database Migration

Hello,

I was unable to explicitly find what I was looking for in a preexisting topic, so please feel free to direct me elsewhere if I am posting this in the wrong area or have overlooked a support article.

I am looking to do two things regarding our PureMessage installation in the near future and need some insight on how viable these are:

• Migrate the PureMessage database from one SQL 2008 R2 database server to another SQL 2008 R2 database server
  
• Migrate the PureMessage database from one SQL 2008 R2 database server to a new SQL 2012 database server

It's entirely possibly it will simply change to just migrating from its existing SQL home to a new SQL 2012 database server, but the listed options above are the plan due to various infrastructure changes. Are those options viable and are there any gotcha's or existing instructions on completing these changes?
