UptoDate failing to install

UptoDate has been a big pain in the backside recently. I have 2 UTM220s in hot standby mode. They never want to update properly.  The last 3-5 updates I have had to manually reboot one or the other to get the update installed, then power on the second unit.
I will also note that I have not seen any progress in the uptodate progress window.

    Ok last night I powered off the slave and let the update install at about 10pm. I got the confirmation email at about 4am that it had succeeded. When I got to work that next morning I powered on the spare and it updated in about 1.5hours.
