Quad core performance issues are back

The latest version has regressed to the performance issues i have routinely documented with QC or above processors under light loads.  I think it was bob that posted that console tweak to change the cpu scheduler to make it more aggressive in ramping cpu speeds.  Anyone able to find that post?

    another way i figured out is to modigy the cpu power settings inside of windows power section in control panel.  On my system running at full speed has a noticable jump in power usage.  I set the minimum processor state at 60% which gives me 1.7 ghz idling...hjowever i do want that govenor settings too i'll set that tonight..[:)]

    Hi Barry,
    The power controls used to load up on the amd utms, but intel chips have always had trouble with the power control mechanism.
    In your hyper-v setup you should be able to set the minimum cpu speed at least in VM you can, so I am assuming that the same or similar features are available in hyper-v.
