[UTM110] Up2Date to 9.2x possible?

Hi,

recently I installed a UTM110 on a customers network.
This unit does not show up with an up2date package to upgrade to 9.2x.

Up2Date ist configured to fetch updates every 15min.

A manual upload of the latest up2date package resulted in an error stating the version is too low or something.

Did I miss something? Is it not possible to upgrade to 9.2 with UTM110?

    Running the following as root should give insight into the updates the Up2Date servers are telling the particular UTM about.
    # audld.plx --dryrun -level d


    The update from 9.113-7 to 9.203 was soft-released last week.

    How is your confidence level in the changes and operation from 9.1 to 9.2 and the recent 9.2 updates, soft and general release?

    9.2 has been announced as GA.

    The 9.113 to 9.203 upgrade has been soft-released.

    A key difference is that between fresh installs and upgrades.

    You may want to separately query your support and sales contacts for their understandings and opinions on the status and readiness of 9.2 and specific releases on your specific hardware via an attributable and quotable mechanism.

    I consider 9.2 to be in a "supported by Sophos" extended-beta released, at least in part, to production.  My impression comes reading forum postings regarding the ongoing fixing of old bugs, apparent introduction of new bugs and reported hiccups in operation.

    Oh yes thats quite common. You will always have new bugs where old bugs are closed. I got very used to it. So that doesn't bother me too much.
    As well as hiccups are common in a sense of being normal sometimes, not too often. Our customers "feel" when it's time to restart the appliance (hardware or virtual doesn't matter). As a personal feeling I really like 9.2. And also I really like "living" software instead of dead software. ;-)

    Michael, what version are you running - 9.203-3?

    Apparently, the Up2Date for 9.113->9.203 has been released to the Up2Date servers.
