4G modem issues

Hi,

I've encountered strange problems with some of my UTMs. Every now and then I have to manually reset the box in order to re-establish the PPP session on the 4G modem. Is there a way to bypass this problem or it is a bug of the specific version of the OS ?

    I've managed to find out what is the issue. In /var/chroot-ppp/var/lock there is a lock file for the USB modem. Manual removal of this lock file resolves this issue.

    I've scripted this action so it doesn't happen again.
