I have a Sophos UTM 110/120 rev 5 appliance installed at my office for our Guest Network. While installing the latest patches this morning I ran into a problem. The patches installed correctly, but the unit wouldn't restart. After plugging in a monitor, I found the following error message:
AHCI Port0 Device Error
Press F1 to continue
Based on the BIOS messages, it appears that my hard drive is failing. When I pressed F1 the unit booted just fine and is currently working without problems.
This unit is licensed with a standard support contract and is current. Can anyone share with me the process to replace the hard drive? Do I have to send this unit in for replacement or can I purchase a drive locally, replace it myself and reload from the ISO?
