Firmware 9.202028 in Software-UTM not available

Hi there,

I have installed the actual firmware-release (9.202028) in several Hardware-UTMs. The packages have been downloaded automatically. But in the UTMs based on the software-version don't find any newer release than 9.201023.
When I download and import the up2date-package the upgrade performs without problems. I can even start the firmware-installation via SUM, but only when I imported the up2date-package before.

Is there any way to fetch the newer firmware automatically?

the problem is they did not release 9.201-023 to 9.201-025

you can manually download it here:

Hello GL@MO,

my intention was not to find out how to update manually to the newest firmware. I stated that the manual way works fine. But I have to update a few software UTMs. And I like to ease up my life so I prefer the simple way via SUM. This way is not usable now.
The question is now why sophos makes differences between hardware-based and software-based UTMs.

Martin,

There is no difference in Up2Date packages for hardware and software versions. The 9.201-028 version was withdrawn because of a problem they found. There are Up2Dates to 9.202-033 from both 9.201-025 and -028.
