using hp micro server as hardware?

I've been reading some of the threads when I have the time and it looks like people like the hp micro server for running the utm software.

I just recently installed a utm120 at a location with about 10 concurrent users. On the rare occasion, the user count would spike up to 20 or so.  The utm120 has the total protect bundle and in a few days I plan on installing a AP30. 

What would be the advantages of buying the micro server and utm software compared to buying the utm120? 

I am just getting my feet wet with the sophos UTM technology but I like what I have seen so far!

    Did anybody run the UTM 9.3 on the HP Microserver Gen8 nativ with the B120i controller? 
    I have the problem that the setup fails after partioning the HDD.

    the b120I is fakeraid and is incompatible with UTM.

    as per the hp site pdf:


    HP Dynamic Smart Array is a RAID solution combining a storage host bus adapter (HBA) and proprietary software components.
    Eliminating most of the hardware RAID controller components and relocating advanced RAID algorithms from a hardware-based
    controller into device driver software lowers the total solution cost, while still maintaining comparable RAID protection and full
    compatibility with Smart Array disk format, configuration utilities, and management/monitoring software.
