Strange problem with update

I am running UTM 9.111-7. Today I got an e-mail that a new firmware was available for installation (9.210-025). I tried to install the firmware via Up2Date and nothing happened. The browser would open a pop-up window and the window would stay blank. In the past updates, the pop-up window used to show the update status, this time nothing. I tried several times but nothing happened.

After trying about 6-7 times, I suddenly noticed that the Up2Date is no longer showing that 9.210-025 is available. When I view the Dashboard, it says I update(s) available for download. When I click on this message, the browser goes to Up2Date page which says that "Your firmware is up to date".

I am not sure what to do at this stage. What is going on?

    The update u2d-sys-9.201023-201025.tgz.gpg appears to have been made available to more UTMs than were ready for it (those lacking the prerequisite updates).

    Manually adding the intermediate/prerequisite updates is one option.  Waiting for Sophos to roll out the 9.1 to 9.2 updates do your UTM, or pull back the "over-distributed" update are other options.

    Always make sure you have a recovery plan should any update fail entirely or break functionality required for your environment.

    Read up on 9.2 and test 9.2 before making the leap - particularly if the only cause for making the jump is an automatically available update that requires manual intermediates.  If you have support, ask support too.
