Does one of these exist?

It's pretty difficult to work out which instance to choose [:)] And they aren't exactly cheap.....

    What features do you plan to use?
    How much bandwidth (peak, in mbps or gbps) will be passed?


    With no features other than firewall rules enabled, you could scrape by with 512mb, but up2dates may not work.

    With IPS & firewall only, 1GB might work but 2GB is preferred.

    With proxies and A/V, add another 1-2GB.

    If a LOT of simultaneous connections, VPNs, etc., add more RAM and CPU.

    The CPU requirements are largely dependent on the bandwidth needed, and # of VPNs.

    You can get by on less in AWS.  A micro instance won't do for production unless it's a very small office with little activity.  The beauty of AWS is that you can start with a guess, but quickly change up or down.  Don't bother with a longer-term subscription until you've established what you need.
