Trying to Update 9.11-7

What is the status of the two UTMs under the High Availibility Tab? Is one UTM in the statw UP2DATE and one in ACTIVE?

I´m trying to update a box with 9.11 to 9.2. Not HA.
Tried to update at the CLI cos the web update doesn´t progress.
Get the following error message at the CLI:

Sophos UTM

Installing up2date package version 9.200011
  Verifying up2date package signature
  Unpacking installation instructions
  You are currently running Version 9.111007, but Version 9.109001 is required for this up2date package.

Any ideas how to work around this, or i just wait for the next update to correct this? [:S]

Hi, callejero, and welcome to the User BB!  

I would recommend staying at 9.111 unless you're a new home user.  It is possible to Up2Date from your current status though - just change the version number.  From the command line as root: 

edit /etc/version

 
Change the content of the file, save it and restart the UTM so the new version is displayed on the Dashboard in WebAdmin.  Now you can run the 9.109-to-9.201 Up2Date.  Did that work for you?

Why don´t you recommend updating to 9.2?

I recently updated to 9.111 and some of our L2TP VPN conections are having issues. Maybe a coincidence but I´d really like move on from 9.111 to see whether our VPN issue resolves itself.

Thanks Bob. It worked a treat. Restart wasn´t necesary after editing Version file. 
For the moment 9.2 seems to be working OK.
