Dual Stack and Licensing

In trying to stay ahead of the curve I am looking at enabling IPv6 on my Sophos UTM Home edition (50 IP license) running 9.200-11 up to Hurricane Electric. Since I am running comfortably within the limits of my license at the moment running just IPv4 does enabling IPv6 and running double stack count against the license?

TIA

  • Hi,

Any internal device using both IPv4 and IPv6 will be counted twice by the licensing system.

I'm not sure if it's practical yet to only run IPv6 on any internal devices (assuming they don't need to talk to an IPv4 printer, etc.)
