High Availability - Hot Standby vs. Cluster

Folks,

I'm testing a new build with an ESXi Server running two UTM 9 Nodes. Currently I have it configured in Hot Standby mode and I'm curious if the behavior I'm seeing is accurate. If I were to perform an Up2Date, upon Slave Node completion, should I expect some downtime?

That being said, and if that is expected, does a Cluster scenario ensure 100% uptime?

    That certainly answers that. I don't mind the Active-Passive approach; was just looking for another feature to test. 

    That being said, the Access Points haven't been disconnecting when I switch the Preferred Master. It was just those first couple times. Hardly noticeable now, so it's a huge win.
