What happens if SW license exceeds

Hi there,

we might switch from an appliance to software solution.
So we have to buy a licenser per user/IP.

We're about to buy 500 user license for our currently counted 400 IPs.
What if we exceed 500 IPs?
Is the UTM still usable or is there restricted functionality?

Hi ,

In this case , you will be able to exceed a bit the 500 IPs but after that users that will exceed the number will be blocked.

Hi ,
