Questions regarding replacing ASG220 with UTM320

I have been running an ASG220 for some time but just purchased a new UTM320 to upgrade it with. I am on version 8 on the 220 but understand that I can still restore the version 8 backup to the 320 which is on version 9. I have several questions though:

Can I change the host name or will this invalidate my certificate(s) and mess up all of my SSL VPN and IPSec site-to-site connections?

Does migrating to a new appliance mess up my certificates due to hardware changes (MAC address, etc)?

Anything else I need to consider/be aware of for the upgrade?

    Barry's right that backups contain all of the certs and CAs.  Changing the Hostname doesn't affect the certs, but it might require setting an override hostname in places.  Consider the Zeroth Rule in https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/51/t/22065.   You might want to take advantage of the situation to do a clean install with your acquired understanding and the new capabilities of the latest 9.1 compared to what you began with in 2005.  I'd bet it wouldn't take that long and that you would save time and avoid confusion in the long run.   Cheers - Bob  Sorry for any short responses.  Posted from my iPhone.
